Swirls in Blue

I made these earrings several months ago. I was randomly inserted jump rings. ^_^ Some of the jump rings need to be closed tighter. Oh and I have some BIG NEWS for you guys soon. :D Soon, not now, my dear stalkers (Ack, I mean followers!).

From This to That: Chainmaille Earrings

Readers, meet my first pair of chainmaille earrings (above)!

Now, meet a more recent pair of chainmaille earrings!

I love these earrings. Even me, the hot pink hater, loves these earrings! Well, sadly (and happily!) I sold these to a friend for three dollars.

I think I've improved quite a bit since December. And I just have to say this:

I. Love. Chainmaille.
All you really need for chainmaille are jump rings and pliers. Well, if you're making earrings you need the hooks, and if you're making a bracelet/necklace you need the clasps. But hey, you get the point. Chainmaille is especially fun when you can randomly insert jump rings. (Like I did with the above earrings)

Okay, now I need to order more jump rings... :)

Classic Simplicity

It was a rainy Monday afternoon... School was finished, chores were done, I had already checked my e-mail a gazillion times... So what do I do? I create. In this case, earrings. My Classic Simplicity earrings, to be exact. I made three pairs, yellow, green, and orange. The reason I named this design, "Classic Simplicity" is because this design is just so classic. It's a very popular design in chainmaille jewlery. For the "Simplicity" part is because they are so simple, yet beautiful. I love these earrings for their classic simplicity. Hence the name!

P.S. If there's enough interest, I want to have another photo contest. Anybody interested? I was thinking of the theme being shoes. 

Red Chainmaille Earrings

Yup... I've been making lots of earrings lately! :) These are earrings are the same pattern I used for this bracelet. :) These would be great for Valentine's Day also!

Purple and Pink Valentine's Day Themed Earrings

 This pair is purple and pink. Perfect for Valentine's Day!

Not much to say... The pictures speak for themselves. :)

Another pair of Chainmaille earrings

This pair is quite similar to the pair in this post. The main difference is that there is no mobius.

Simple Icy Blue Chaimaille Earrings

 Perfect for a winter afternoon! I got in the mood to make these little things when it got all icy and snowy outside.

I made them with  an icy blue bead in place of the metal ball that comes on the ear wire, a large metal jump ring at the top along with two small ones then a chainmaille mobius! Which I have been seeing a lot of! When I first figured out how to do a mobius I didn't mean too! I had been wanting to learn how but I couldn't figure it out! So I learned how to do it by mistake! :) LOL!

Oh and don't worry, I will have a giveaway post soon! I've just been insanely busy... So it should be here by next Monday!

Oh chainmaille!

 Chainmaille, oh chainmaille, You have taken over my life, creeping out of corners, falling onto the floor, getting stuck in my finger (true story!)...

 Actually it's not that bad. But a jump ring did get stuck in my finger. (WARNING: if you dislike hearing stories of metal in fingers, don't read this story ;) ) I was holding a jump ring in my right hand and then I tipped the chair I was sitting and and my right hand roughly hit my left hand inserted the jump ring halfway into my finger. Ouch.

^That's a bracelet. Yeah, you probably could have guessed that, but I'm telling you anyway ^_^ I came up with the design when I was babysitting my brother. I was watching Star Wars with him.

Oh and I promise I'll figure out the Giveaway soon! ^_^

Two pairs of earrings!

 I think I'll call the first pair "Sunny Droplets":) The thing I like about this pair is their simplicity. To make them is simple. Just slip the metal ball off the earring hook and replace it with a bead, then attach two or three jump rings to the earring hook. Did that make sense?

 I like this next pair also. I'm call these ones "Firery Droplets" Oh and guess where I got that green earring next to my "Firery Droplets"? I bought them from Shaylynn's artfire store

These earrings are simply a orange bead replacing the metal ball that comes on the earring hook, then a gold jump ring, then a small jump ring--both jump rings are attached to the earring hook. In that photo on the right earring the small jump ring is caught upwards. ^_^

Chainmaille Bracelet

 This is the most time consuming chainmaille project I've done, to date. Figured out the design when I was messing around with jump rings. It took about 1 hour. Fairly easy design, but time consuming.

Chainmaille Keychain

I couldn't find a keychain ring, but it will be a keychain when I find it. ^_^ Does this bracelet look difficult? It was very simple! All it is is a copper jump ring and a gold jump ring then two brown jump rings, then repeat till finished. I also added a little butterfly charm for fun. And cuteness. :)
