Of Springtime and Regularity

Hi there. Remember me? Yes, no? Well if your answer was negative, can't say I blame you. I haven't posted for a month (!).

I don't really have an excuse. Well, I have been busy with school and dance.  I really am gonna try to post more regularly. I have several things to post about, I just need to phototograph them.

Anyhow, today is apparently the first day of spring! Happy Springtime... Of course, today of all days it is actually cold here instead of being warm as it has been for the past several days.

I dreamed (A quickie post!)

Just a quickie post today, y'all! :)

I was working on this yesterday, I love that picture of Eowyn, it's so beautiful... Well, actually I love all pictures of Eowyn, cause I'm such a nerd. :D And proud of it! So the inspiration for this little bit o' artwork was from this beautiful picture. Oh my goodness, that's beautiful. The person who worked on it did an amazing job!

Shines and Sparkles-A Photo Contest

Well, folks. I've decided to do another photo contest. And what is the theme, you ask? Jewelry. I toyed with the idea of having shoes or siblings as a theme but as I decided to sit down and figure this out today, why not the theme be jewelry? For those who make jewelry, it could be a photo of something you made, but it doesn't have to be. It can be something you made, or something you didn't.

The Rules:

1. One photo per blog, please. (If you have two blogs, yes, you may link up both)

How I made my blog banner: In Five Steps (On picnik)

Aye, I'll bet ye noticed I changed me blog banner. Again. And this be how I did it! (Okay, I'll stop talking like a pirate now, matey! :)

How I made my blog banner: In five easy steps (On picnik.com)

Step One: 

Crop and resize photo.

Step Two:


Cross Process. Fade 55%.

Step Three: 


Focal soften: blur-17, focal size-77%, edge hardness- 50%, fade- 20%

Step Four:

Add text. The main fonts I used were 'Olho de Boe' and 'Rascunho Errado'.

Step Five:

Download photo and upload it to blog.

Hello followers! It's me. Yeah, your author who says, "I'll post about the prize tomorrow!" And fails. But I'm here now! Oh and Johanna, do you have pierced ears? I need to know for your prize. :D

Would anyone like to guess what all these jewleries I made mean?

Oh chainmaille!

 Chainmaille, oh chainmaille, You have taken over my life, creeping out of corners, falling onto the floor, getting stuck in my finger (true story!)...

 Actually it's not that bad. But a jump ring did get stuck in my finger. (WARNING: if you dislike hearing stories of metal in fingers, don't read this story ;) ) I was holding a jump ring in my right hand and then I tipped the chair I was sitting and and my right hand roughly hit my left hand inserted the jump ring halfway into my finger. Ouch.

^That's a bracelet. Yeah, you probably could have guessed that, but I'm telling you anyway ^_^ I came up with the design when I was babysitting my brother. I was watching Star Wars with him.

Oh and I promise I'll figure out the Giveaway soon! ^_^

New look!

Yup, my loyal readers I have a new name and design!

The name. Someday I want to have a online store. I decided to change the name for something that switch over well. A good friend of mine thought of Blissful Art. Thanks so much! :-)
