Teaser
Yes! I am teasing you dear readers! But I have important news! Drum roll please! *Drum roll* I, your jewelry making, but fail-at-being-a-artist author, is actually drawing a picture of Arwen from LOTR! Yes. Can you believe it? I can't. I won't post any photos of it till it's done (which, knowing me could be anywhere from three hours to three years ^_^) But here is my reference photo!

That's a GREAT picture to copy from- I might have to try that one!
ReplyDeleteYou know what helps me? I get a ruler and graph the drawing so there are twelve (take or give a few) one inch by an inch squares. I do the same very lightly on my own paper. After that, I draw what is in each box very carefully. When I am done, I erase the lines very carefully so that I don't mess up what I have already done.
It works very well, only you have to make sure the measurements are right!

Thanks for the advice Emily! :) I really appreciate it, you being so experienced and all. :) I know, I love that picture! I especially since I won't have to draw ears. Or hands. I fail at drawing those!
